The last of my little sequence about my two characters. Just to clarify, he’s turning from werewolf back into human. Which I think should be just as painful!
Obviously, I was trying a new colouring style here. I don’t know why I was drifting away from outlines, my favourite artists all outline their work. I think it did me good to try out a painterly style though.
I really like this colouring style, although I need to refine it. My faces look loads better like this though! The light was fun to do.
I messed up the picture a bit. The idea is James (The boy) is supposed to be selling all the stuff they stole on eBay. But I was so swept up in the new style, and trying to get the perspective to work, that I forgot the story behind the picture! As a result it looks way too much like the first picture in the sequence. On the plus side, I can how much I’ve improved since the first one.
Don’t think you’ve seen the last of these two- they are my darling head babies and I shall be drawing them loads
Toying with the idea of making a simple animation of the sequence once I finish my degree…I’ll see how I feel at the time.
Anyway, here’s the others in the sequence, if you’re curious: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Keep your eye on this commission by awesome werewolf artist petplayer976 on that very topic.... and you're right, i'm suprised more people don't bother with the concept, its very intriguing story wise.
So I'm curious.... is the dad supposed to know about all the night-time looting he's doing? Because that would be one of the more intresting plots for a werewolf story I've ever heard of: son uses dad to commit wacky hijinx and petty crime, without him even realizing it!
